They’re now looking for an experienced Java/Kotlin Engineer to join their remote-first team and help scale their secure, real-time payment platforms across the UK and Europe.
Tech Stack & Responsibilities:
* Design and build scalable, event-driven services using Java and/or Kotlin
* Work on core payment processing systems and open banking APIs
* Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems
* Collaborate across teams including Product, DevOps, and Compliance
* Deliver clean, testable, and maintainable code in a regulated environment
What You’ll Need:
* Strong professional experience with Java or Kotlin (ideally both)
* Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and REST APIs
* Background in Payments, Banking, or FinTech highly desirable
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) is a plus
* Passion for clean code, best practices, and scalable architecture
