Account Manager - Hybrid/Manchester or London - Up to £50k base with x2 OTE
One Consega Talent Solutions longstanding UK Microsoft partners has commissioned us with the search of an Account Manager, as they look to strengthen their UK Sales team.
They are a Microsoft Specialist MSP, boasting a strong relationship with Microsoft directly and the Solution Partner recognitions to back that up. They are a great place for you to build credibility with your client base.
The role itself will be hybrid, involving new business development and account management. You will be given an existing account base upon joining but will be required to hunt, close, and manage your own clients.
Responsibilities for the Microsoft Account Manager:
1. Prospect new logo accounts
2. Manage existing account base
3. Develop a go-to-market strategy for target accounts
4. Schedule and attend customer meetings/online sessions to present the portfolio and demonstrate the solution
5. Successfully forecast and build a pipeline of new business opportunities
6. Daily prospecting via phone, LinkedIn, email
7. Achieve and exceed sales targets
8. Work with internal marketing and channel partners to drive activity
9. Manage inbound leads through to opportunities and closed business
10. Ensure accurate and predictable forecasting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Skills/Experience:
1. 3+ years track record in an end-user focused role, ideally within mid-market/enterprise
2. Extensive knowledge of Managed Services (Microsoft, VMWare, Sophos)
3. Self-starter with a high-energy approach
4. Demonstrable selling skills with examples of mid-market project/account wins
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
6. Technically competent with an ability to learn and communicate the technical aspects of solutions to a reasonable depth
7. Excellent customer engagement and relationship-building skills
