An established and fast?growing IFA firm in Cranleigh, Surrey is looking to appoint a Trainee Financial Adviser to join their expanding team. With a very strong client flow and more demand than their current adviser capacity, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with paraplanning or IFA support experience who's ready to step into an advice role.
You'll work closely with a Senior Financial Planner, gaining hands?on exposure to the full advice process while developing your technical, relationship?building and financial planning skills.

Key Responsibilities
Support your Financial Planner in delivering holistic, personalised financial advice
Undertake technical research and assist with preparing financial planning recommendations
Analyse portfolios, undertake benchmarking, rebalancing and portfolio maintenance
Prepare for and attend client meetings, building relationships and supporting client queries
Compile cashflow models and analyse client financial data
Liaise with product providers and third parties
Ensure exceptional customer experience with proactive communication
Delegate tasks to the admin team and maintain high service standards
Follow all regulatory and compliance processes
Contribute to internal best?practice improvements
What We're Looking For
18+ months' experience in paraplanning or technical IFA support
Level 4 Diploma (DipPFS) — strongly preferred
Knowledge across investments, pensions, protection, taxation, estate planning
Strong analytical and numerical skills; comfortable with technology
Excellent attention to detail and workflow management
Warm, client?focused communicator and collaborative team player
Experience with Intelligent Office and/or cashflow modelling software (advantageous)
Keen to pursue further qualifications (Chartered support available)
