Job Title: Finance Officer
Location: Leeds

Working Arrangements: Hybrid (3 days a week onsite)
Salary: £30,507 - £33,319
Burman Recruitment are currently working with a higher education client based in Leeds on the search for a Finance Officer on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* Take on general finance duties, including tasks such as inputting data, conducting analysis and preparing ad hoc reports using Microsoft Excel, as well as fulfilling other responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Financial Reporting and Financial Systems.
* Compile necessary information for both internal and external stakeholders, such as Auditors, Insurance Brokers, Funding Bodies, and responding to Freedom of Information Requests.
* Assist in gathering data for various returns, such as TRAC, ONS Finance Record and Procurement Value Survey.
* Collaborate with the Head of Financial Operations to maintain the Fixed Asset Register by managing additions, disposals, and conducting inventory / asset checks.
* Aid in the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes by providing analyses and reports as required.
Essential Criteria:
* Level 4 AAT Qualification
* General understanding of financial procedures
