Glasgow Life is recruiting a Head of Arts and Music on a full-time, permanent contract. This senior leadership role involves driving the strategic and operational delivery of arts and music across the city. As the lead officer for Glasgow's Culture Strategy 2024-2030, you'll help shape programmes that are inclusive, innovative, and impactful. You will lead a multidisciplinary team and contribute to organisation-wide planning and transformation, ensuring that culture continues to enhance the wellbeing and vibrancy of Glasgow's communities and economy.
Glasgow Life's Arts & Music teams deliver meaningful, high-quality cultural experiences, from major festivals and venue programming to community-led initiatives. We promote inclusion, support wellbeing, and strengthen the visitor economy.
About you
* Degree-level education or equivalent senior experience in cultural policy, arts management, or creative leadership
* Proven strategic leadership and experience managing large teams in arts, culture, or music
* Strong financial skills and understanding of public/third sector funding
* Experience creating inclusive cultural programmes with and for diverse communities
