About the Role
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Additional Learning Needs (ALN) schools across the Carmarthenshire area.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ALN
* Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and interventions
* Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

✅ Requirements
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
* Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) or willing to register
* Experience working with children or individuals with ALN (desirable)
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Supporting Teaching & Learning, or similar) are advantageous
* A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Full UK driving licence (desirable, but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
