We're now looking for a Reception Supervisor to lead our front-of-house teams at La Bellezza Restaurant in Birmingham! The role As a Reception Supervisor at Big Mamma, you'll be the perfect example of our brand, ensuring every guest receives a warm, professional welcome and a seamless experience. You will: Lead the host team, maintaining high standards and maximising bookings Resolve or escalate issues and complaints when needed Manage bookings and enquiries using SevenRooms Onboard and train new hosts, supporting floor managers with rota scheduling Solve problems proactively when bookings or service don't go as planned Create memorable moments for guests with a warm, friendly and professional attitude Support the Events Team in managing enquiries for private hire and events Assist with the coordination and on-the-day organisation of events and private hire About you Big smile and passion for Italian food High energy, proactive attitude and team spirit Excellent customer service, leadership and communication skills Comprehensive knowledge of floor operations Previous experience as a head host/hostess or reception supervisor Previous experience with SevenRooms Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends What Big Mamma offers Permanent, full-time position 17,71 per hour Tronc Point 5-day working week with 2 days off Daily staff meals 15% discount across all Big Mamma restaurants (UK and Ireland) 500 employee referral bonus Wagestream - access your pay between paydays Mental health & wellbeing support (Open Up) Continuous training and career progression Mobility across UK and European venues Big Mamma Ltd is an equal opportunity employer.
