The Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Residential Conveyancer to join my client’s Nottingham office.
This role offers the chance to manage a wide range of residential property transactions, supporting clients through every step of the process and gaining hands-on experience in conveyancing.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Managing residential property sales, purchases, and remortgages from start to completion
* Preparing, reviewing, and checking contracts, title documents, and related legal paperwork
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professionals throughout the transaction
* Conducting searches and investigations, including title checks and enquiries
* Managing case files and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
* Preparing completion statements and facilitating post-completion procedures
* Providing clear guidance to clients on the conveyancing process
* Supporting fee earners with administrative tasks to ensure smooth case progression
* Ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
Previous experience in residential conveyancing is highly desirable.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* Previous experience handling residential property transactions
* Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail
* Confidence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and case management systems
* The ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a busy environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone manner
* A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
* Legal qualifications or relevant experience in conveyancing (paralegal or licensed conveyancer)
