Do you love teaching and have a passion for supporting students, but dislike the constraints of the classroom? Consider 1:1 tutoring!
There has been an increase in young people unable to attend school due to reasons such as SEN needs, SEMH, Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, and Lower Learning Levels. At TP, we work with local authorities nationwide to provide high-impact, 1:1 tuition for these students.
You can choose your own schedule, accepting as much or as little work as you prefer. Tutoring offers a lighter workload with less paperwork, giving you back time for family or hobbies.
We are seeking Maths and English 1:1 tutors in Leicestershire to support all ages from Primary to GCSE.
Immediate start referrals are available, or we can accommodate your availability.
Responsibilities of this Tutor Role:
* Working with primary or secondary children with SEN/SEMH needs or looked after (LAC).
* Providing face-to-face educational sessions at homes or public spaces like libraries or community centers.
* Planning resources tailored to the child's needs and developing their knowledge in core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science.
Requirements:
* Having QTS, being a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, or possessing SEN/SEMH experience.
* Being highly engaging and able to build effective relationships with children.
* Managing and implementing behavior strategies.
Benefits of Working with Teaching Personnel:
* Access to a wide volume of tuition work via a national company, with a dedicated consultant to guide your journey.
* Referrals supporting students across various settings, including mainstream, SEN, or alternative provisions.
* Online reporting platform with 24/7 access for logging attendance, feedback, and assessments.
* Hourly rate of £25.00 paid weekly.
* Free safeguarding and CPD courses, along with assessment tools and resources.
