We're recruiting for a hands-on, people-focused Production Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing environment in Ripley. This role starts on a temporary basis with a strong opportunity to secure a permanent position. What you'll be doing: Leading, supporting and motivating a production team of around 35 colleagues. Working side-by-side with the Department Manager to deliver on daily priorities including output, quality, staffing/skills, and safety. Completing risk assessments and ensuring full compliance across Health & Safety, hygiene, housekeeping and company standards. Planning and organising manpower and materials to ensure production goals are consistently achieved. Tracking, monitoring and reporting on production and business performance. Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, promoting new ideas and best practice. Assisting with routine stock takes. Stepping in for the Department Manager when required. What we're looking for: A confident communicator who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels. Someone decisive, driven and committed to achieving results. Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A positive, motivated individual who thrives under pressure. Excellent organisational skills. Basic IT skills, especially Word and Excel. Previous experience in a Team Leader or similar supervisory role.
