Tax Manager Ipswich Hybrid £52,000 - £60,000
A forward-thinking and well-established accountancy practice in Ipswich is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join its growing Tax Advisory team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior tax professional with a passion for providing high-quality advisory services across a varied client portfolio. This role is ideal for someone CTA qualified (or equivalent) with solid technical knowledge, excellent client communication skills, and the ambition to mentor junior staff while continuing their own career progression in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Role Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke tax advice across a full suite of taxes to a range of clients.
* Support corporate reorganisations and transactions, offering strategic input on group structures.
* Advise internationally mobile individuals on residence, domicile, and cross-border tax issues.
* Draft advisory reports covering areas such as Income Tax, CGT, IHT, SDLT, and tax reliefs.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
* Collaborate with legal and professional partners under cross-disciplinary initiatives.
* Create content for client newsletters and firm publications.
* Line manage, coach, and support junior team members to develop their skills and experience.
Personal Requirements
* Significant experience in a tax advisory role, ideally at Manager level.
* CTA qualified (or ATT with substantial advisory experience).
* Skilled in managing client relationships and delivering clear, practical advice.
* Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of business drivers.
* Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing and motivating a team.
* Excellent organisation and time management skills.
* A full UK driving licence and access to transport.
