We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Goods In Quality Controller to support a busy production and warehouse environment. The position offers up to £12.80 per hour on a day shift, Monday to Friday.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, maintains high standards, and can work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inspect incoming goods, raw materials, and components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
2. Record and maintain accurate quality assurance data.
3. Identify, document, and report any defects or discrepancies.
4. Isolate and label non-compliant items according to procedures.
5. Collaborate with warehouse, production, and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.
6. Conduct inspections against customer and compliance specifications.
7. Support health, safety, and cleanliness standards across the workspace.
8. Monitor and check equipment calibration.
9. Assist in updating quality control documentation and support internal audits.
10. Contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control, assurance, or a similar role.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to follow procedures and work independently.
* Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
* Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with HACCP or BRC standards.
* Problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
* Must be able to commute to Poole or plan to relocate before starting.
