Responsible to: Housing and Support Manager or Housing and Support Coordinator (service dependent)
Hours of Work: 40 hours on a shift rota including weekends
Work Location: London W5 5RE
Job Purpose
* Provide housing management and support to residents.
* Monitor rent accounts and take early action to prevent arrears, only enforcing when necessary.
* Collaborate with departments to deliver quality services.
* Ensure residents receive appropriate services based on their assessment plans.
* Maintain accurate records for all residents.
* Support residents in engaging with progression activities.
* Assist residents in finding move-on accommodation.
* Maximize occupancy and reduce voids proactively.
* Ensure compliance with tenancy conditions and address anti-social behaviour as instructed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Housing Management
* Manage resident intake and explain policies and agreements clearly.
* Monitor rent accounts and take proactive measures to prevent arrears.
* Maximize occupancy through proactive inspections and referrals.
* Investigate and address anti-social behaviour cases.
Support
* Conduct Outcome Star assessments and develop person-centered action plans.
* Review and update assessments regularly.
* Monitor residents' welfare, including health and substance misuse, intervening as needed.
* Liaise with external agencies on behalf of residents.
* Perform Facilities and Wellbeing Checks.
* Collaborate with other departments and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
* Partner with the Progression team to promote engagement in education, training, and employment activities.
* Help residents build community awareness and independent living skills.
