Chapman Recruitment is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented MEP Planner to support an established company in the engineering sector, specialising in Automation, Electrical, and Mechanical projects on a 3-month contract, with potential for extension. MEP Planner Role Overview You will work with the Lead Planner and Project Team to develop, monitor, and control programmes, progress, and performance for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works, including subcontracted packages. MEP Planner Key Responsibilities: * Assist in updating Clause 32 Programmes using Primavera P6 * Process site records and progress data to inform updates, reports, and narratives * MEP Planner conduct site visits at Heathrow Airport to verify progress, installed quantities, and site conditions * Identify and communicate risks with potential programme impacts * Support change management by collating and maintaining accurate site records * Ensure site hours are forecasted accurately and recorded daily against work packages * Assist in maintaining S-Curves for Planned vs Actual data * Work with Quantity Surveyors to support Earned Value Analysis (EVA) processes * Assist in maintaining client dashboards and reporting outputs * Coordinate with procurement teams to manage and update the Procurement Register * Maintain activity coding structures in P6, ensuring consistency across platforms MEP Planner – Requirements: * MEP Planner must have experience with Primavera P6 (essential) * Proactive, professional team player with ability to work independently * Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills * High level of confidentiality and commitment to HSEQ standards * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word * Working knowledge of Power BI * Good understanding of project planning and controls * Knowledge of Earned Value Analysis and NEC contracts (preferred) * Familiarity with Aphex (advantageous) * Flexible to meet project demands Chapman Recruitment provide both permanent and temporary opportunities as an Employment Business.
