Full time, permanent Competitive Industry package, plus generous Bonus scheme KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential Functions Performed by the Position The role is responsible for leading the Value Stream to achieve operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business performance. This role ensures the delivery of production targets and KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and customer service, while building long-term capability within the workforce. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and high performance, the Value Stream Manager will drive operational results, develop future leaders, and align the Value Stream with the strategic objectives of the business. Essential Functions Performed by the Position Leadership & People Development: Manage, lead, and motivate the Value Stream team, ensuring all employees are supported by Intellectual Capital initiatives in accordance with Corporate and local policy. Develop and implement succession planning and talent development initiatives, ensuring the business builds capability, retains key skills, and prepares future leaders to meet long-term strategic objectives. Oversee performance management, training, and development plans to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce. Safety, Quality & Compliance: Lead the Value Stream team to ensure that safety and quality standards are adhered to at all times. Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement in line with regulatory, customer, and company standards. Operational Excellence: Deliver or exceed plan levels of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Lead Time in a cost-effective manner that maximizes operating profit while ensuring customer needs are met or exceeded. Ensure planning and buying processes identify customer requirements (takt time) and deliver appropriately resourced daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production plans. Monitor performance using daily/weekly/monthly boards, driving pareto stratification, root cause analysis, and timely problem resolution. Create and update current and future state Value Stream Maps, along with 6-month implementation plans that support the winning business model. Continuous Improvement & Change Leadership: Champion Lean principles and the Crane Business System through deployment of standard work, 5S, TPM, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Lead cross-functional change initiatives to align operations with customer requirements and overall business strategy. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of manufacturing/engineering experience. Proven track record of leading large teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
