Your application should reflect your genuine experiences and qualifications to ensure authenticity and credibility Job overview We are excited to offer the opportunity for a part time (Thursday & Friday) Support Worker role in the Mansfield & Ashfield Mental Health Support Team, which works alongside schools providing early intervention work and promoting mental health. We are really keen to hear from people who have experience in working in a CAMHS setting or perhaps those who have worked with children, maybe in a youth worker capacity or as a teaching assistant. A full UK driving licence and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010. Advert Delivering workshops and assemblies developed by the team to groups of young people in schools around the theme of emotional health and wellbeing into schools. There may be some promotional events and parents events within schools and occasional out of hours working to cover parents evenings. You may be asked to support with peer mentoring schemes that the team run in schools along with working on projects to support service delivery. Pl ease note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. The Trust is committed to reducing its carbon emissions, with a specialised Energy and Environmental team working to ensure compliance with environmental legislation, enhance our environmental performance, and achieve our net-zero commitment Detailed job description and main responsibilities The role will involve delivering workshops, webinars and assemblies in schools as part of the whole school approach to mental health. There will also be attendance at promotional events which include parents evenings and events with partner agencies. Your role will be undertaken as directed by the link worker allocated to the schools. Your work will be supervised and supported by the wider clinical team for each locality and there will be opportunities for additional development through the trust learning and development programme. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
