Administrative Assistant - Temporary (6 Weeks)
Location: Leeds City Centre
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (9am - 5pm, with some flexibility)
Contract: Temporary (4 to 6 weeks)
About the Role:
Our client, based in Leeds City Centre, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide short-term support for an initial period of 4 to 6 weeks.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background who is available immediately and confident working in a busy office environment. The role will be fully office-based and focused on providing efficient and accurate administrative support to help the team manage a temporary increase in workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing and submitting DBS requests
Running reports and maintaining records
Conducting follow-up calls and emails to internal and external contacts
Carrying out accurate data entry and general admin tasks
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative duties
Person Specification:
Previous administrative experience in an office environment (essential)
Experience handling DBS checks (beneficial but not essential)
Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Professional and confident communication skills
Reliable, proactive, and able to manage workload effectively
Additional Information:
Start Date: ASAP (ideally Thursday or Friday this week)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (some flexibility)
Duration: 4 to 6 weeks (potential for extension)
Location: Office-based, Leeds City Centre
