We have partnered with a leading innovator in machinery used in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse environments, who due to continued success are looking to recruit a Baler & Compactor Engineer.
The successful applicant will complete scheduled maintenance, attend breakdowns, assist with installations and provide technical support.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance of balers, compactors, recycling shredders and associated machinery
* Ensuring plant equipment functioning in the correct manner
* Maintaining all equipment on site, such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, and valves
* Hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
* Installation of machinery onsite
* Maintaining all mechanical and electrical process equipment
* Fault finding and diagnostics
* Following a PPM schedule and recording follow up work
* Ensuring appropriate housekeeping standards are maintained on a daily basis
* Continually developing to improve operations to drive improvements in quality, cost and safety
* Assisting production with machinery problems and setups, providing relevant training when appropriate
* Responsible for protecting, always, of the integrity of the Company through positive and constructive actions and attitude
