Are you a skilled professional with deburring and fitting experience?We're recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing manufacturer specializing in high-spec components for the aerospace and oil & gas industries. Following a recent takeover, this industry leader is expanding its team and is seeking a dedicated Deburrer/Fitter to support their growth.Key Responsibilities:- Perform precise deburring of high-spec components to meet stringent quality standards.- Work confidently in an AS9100 Rev D environment, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.- Use handheld tools such as scrapers, files, and air tools for deburring and fitting tasks.- Conduct detailed fitting processes, including Helicoil inserts, Lee jets, and pins using air guns and insert tools.- Operate hydraulic presses and bench presses effectively.- Read and interpret engineering drawings and route cards accurately.- Handle high tensile and ultra-high tensile materials, maintaining tight tolerances and exceptional quality.Skills and Experience Required:- Proven experience in deburring and working with high-spec components.- Competence in using handheld measuring equipment, including:- Micrometers (standard, thread, and groove - metric & imperial)- Bore clocks- Height gauges- Plug gauges and screw plug gauges- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in both low- and high-volume production.- Strong organizational skills with a focus on cleanliness and efficiency in the workplace.- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to implementing company policies and procedures.What's on Offer:- Hourly Rate: £15 -£17 per hour- Flexible Start Times: Choose between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM- Workweek: 39 hours, early Friday finish - providing a balanced schedule- Opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company at the forefront of innovation in aerospace and oil & gas
