Insurance Broker Salary: £25,000 £50,000 per annum (DOE + commission)

Overview We are working with a growing insurance brokerage that is looking to appoint an Insurance Broker to support the continued expansion of its client portfolio. This role is suitable for an experienced broker or an ambitious individual looking to develop their career within the insurance market.
You will be responsible for advising clients on appropriate insurance products, managing client relationships, and driving new business opportunities while ensuring high standards of service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities Advise new and existing clients on suitable insurance products based on their needs
Build and manage a portfolio of personal or commercial insurance clients
Obtain and present quotations, negotiate terms, and place cover with insurers
Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and policy documentation
Develop new business through referrals, leads, and proactive outreach
Maintain accurate client records in line with FCA and internal compliance standards
Work closely with insurers and internal teams to deliver a high level of service
Required Experience and Skills Experience working within an insurance brokerage or insurance sales environment
Good knowledge of personal lines and or commercial insurance products
Strong communication and relationship management skills
Confident in negotiating and closing insurance policies
Organised, detail focused, and compliant with FCA regulations
Ambitious with a desire to grow earnings and progress within the business
Desirable Cert CII qualification or working towards it
Experience using insurance CRM or broking systems
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
