Job Title: Sports Coach Background – Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor Location: Sheffield Salary: £460 – £650 per week Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term / Day-to-Day Start Date: Immediate Are you a Sports Coach, Personal Trainer, or Fitness Professional looking to transition into education? Your skills in leadership, motivation, and behaviour management are highly valued in schools across Sheffield. We are currently recruiting individuals from sports and fitness backgrounds to work in schools as Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors. While occasional sports-based roles may become available, the majority of opportunities will involve classroom-based support and lesson supervision. About the Role: In this role, you may support students within lessons as a Teaching Assistant or supervise whole classes as a Cover Supervisor, delivering pre-set work in the absence of a teacher. Your coaching experience will translate effectively into maintaining structure, encouraging participation, and promoting positive behaviour.
