Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) and Cover Supervisor Location: Stretford, Greater Manchester, North West England Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting teachers in planning and delivering lessons Assisting students with their learning and development Supervising classes during teacher absence Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment Providing one-to-one support for students with additional needs Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant teaching assistant qualification DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Teaching Assistant qualification Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting Experience supporting students with diverse needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of the UK education system Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team Good organisational and time management skills Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification SEN (Special Educational Needs) training Working Conditions: Working hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Classroom-based role with some outdoor supervision duties Opportunity for professional development and training Working closely with teachers, students, and parents All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
