Business Development Executive – Bourne End – Buckinghamshire
The role is office based
Basic salary between £40,000 and £50,000 dependent on experience uncapped OTE, mobile, pension, holidays and excellent sales training and mentoring.
Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence
This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive who is and articulate, driven sales professional with a scientific background and a passion to use their subject matter expertise in a commercial capacity. Any experience of selling into the medical/healthcare/pharma sector would be advantageous.
As a Business Development Executive, you will have a minimum of two years’ experience working in a B2B sales role within the scientific/technical industry and hold a 2.1 degree or first-class degree in a science-related discipline i.e. medical, computer science, biology etc.
As a Business Development Executive, you will sell precision packaging solutions to senior stakeholders in pharmaceutical, medical, and healthcare sectors, through outbound calls. The role also includes cross-selling to existing clients, customer visits, and attending UK and overseas tradeshows.
Candidate Skills
* Proven B2B sales ability, confident communicating clearly technical concepts
* Strong written English to write compelling, accurate copy.
* Exceptionally intelligent and experienced in managing complex discussions with scientists, engineers, and stakeholders.
* Competitive by nature with a results-driven mindset
* Experience of using a CRM system along with good MS Office skills
Duties
* Prospect, qualify, and close opportunities across various industry sectors.
* Consult with senior technical stakeholders.
* Create and deliver persuasive sales presentations and copy — both written and spoken.
* You will source various leads using various databases, AI tools, industry databases, and associations whilst also cross selling into existing accounts.
* Skilled in technical sales discussions.
* Undertake continuous professional development including NLP, sales grammar, and technical product training
