Job Title: Quality Inspector
Salary: £32,000–£36,000
Location: Chester
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out detailed inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
* Ensure all products meet customer specifications, engineering drawings, and required quality standards
* Record and maintain accurate inspection data and quality documentation
* Identify, contain, and report non-conforming products in line with procedures
* Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
* Work closely with production and quality engineering teams to resolve quality issues efficiently
* Use a range of inspection and measurement equipment (e.g., callipers, micrometres, gauges, CMM where applicable)
* Support internal audits and ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or similar inspection role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong understanding of quality control processes and inspection techniques
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience using precision measuring equipment and inspection tools
* Manufacturing or engineering background preferred
