HR Advisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR professional to join a successful, market-leading business in Shoeburyness, Essex. Main Responsibilities for HR Advisor:
* You’ll support managers with employee relations matters, including performance, conduct, and wellbeing.
* You’ll manage weekly and monthly payroll, including statutory payments, reporting, and HMRC submissions.
* You’ll maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR processes are compliant and up to date.
* You’ll provide clear, professional HR advice in line with employment law and company policy.
* You’ll help promote effective communication, engagement, and a positive workplace culture.
* You’ll manage absence and family leave processes, ensuring a fair and supportive approach.
* You’ll contribute to organisational development and wellbeing initiatives that help our people thrive.
About the successful HR Advisor:
* CIPD qualified or proven experience as an HR Advisor.
* Experience supporting HR projects, audits, and operational processes.
* Strong knowledge of HR best practices and procedures.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, multitask, and handle a high workload effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently across all levels and a diverse workforce.
* Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a desire to grow professionally.
* Solution-focused, inquisitive, and committed to improving systems and processes.
* Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
* Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive matters with discretion.
* Skilled in managing challenging situations and individuals with diplomacy and confidence.
* Able to remain calm and professional in fast-paced, dynamic environments, while delivering excellent service.
* Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with HR, Time & Attendance, or payroll systems.
