Accounts Assistant Location: Belfast Contract: Part-time (20-30 hours) | Permanent | Office-based Salary: £ pro-rata (dependent on experience) Reed Recruitment is proud to represent a reputable and growing company in the Belfast area who are seeking a motivated and ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their dynamic team, supporting their financial operations and contributing to their ongoing success. The successful Accounts Assistant will be joining a well-established company who foster a sense of collaboration and development within their team. They are ideally seeking someone who has a strong background in transactional finance and a willingness to support a busy finance department. Day-to-day of the role: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including processing invoices and payments. Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records. Assist with VAT submissions and support month-end and year-end closing processes. Prepare financial reports and statements. Perform other accounting duties as assigned to support the finance department. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounts assistance. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in the use of an accounting software. Good understanding of VAT procedures. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
