About therole:
We are currently looking for a committedand enthusiastic Youth & Community Worker to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for raisingawareness of Young Carers in NPT and working in partnership withorganisations to provide the best support possible.
NPT Youth Service aims to give young peopleinteresting and challenging experiences. We have a team of youthworkers who engage with young people and deliver innovative youthprojects. We work with young people aged 11 to 25 years old.
We are currently seeking a nationallyqualified Youth and Community worker (or equivalent) to join ourteam. This person will work in schools and the community toincrease the awareness of Young Carers and encourage referrals tothe Young Carers Service.
There is also a requirement to attendcommunity events to raise awareness as well as deliver trainingto upskill professionals and organisations.

* Experience of working with children andyoung people between the ages of 5 to 25 in a variety ofsettings.
* Experience of working with Young Carerswith a range of complex needs.
* Experience of devising and deliveringsessions for children and young people in a variety ofsettings.
* Experience of arranging informationevents or community engagement activities.
* Nationally recognised qualification inYouth and Community Work or equivalent.
