We are headquartered in London, UK, but are also present in several European countries as well as the United States where we service our partners, including eBay, Amazon, Just Eat, Shopify, and Stripe.

The Role

YouLend is looking to hire a ‘Sales Team Leader’. As a Sales Team Leader, you will play a vital part in our merchant journey at YouLend, managing a team of account executives – coaching them to a high standard, ensuring excellent pipeline management and leading them to hit their monthly targets. This involves motivating your team towards key business KPIS, including call activity and conversion targets, in order to optimise their chances of successfully selling our lending product and achieving theat monthly £ funded goal.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

* Leading and developing a team of between 6-10 account managers, with you being instrumental in developing their sales skills.
* Coaching, training and honing the sales prowess of those under your management – this includes leading sessions on selling aspects such as objection handling, offer pitching and rapport building.
* Monitoring the pipeline management of your teams pipelines, ensuring that all open deals are chased well and regularly – with a strategic approach.
* Driving your team performance, ensuring that your team monthly funding and conversion targets are hit. This will involve thinking strategically and what areas of the pipeline to best target to improve areas that are not performing across your team members and business area.
* Working with our merchants, helping to handle any managerial escalations from your team, including complaints.
* Working on projects with internal stakeholders throughout the business to improve Sales processes and help your team sell more, more efficiently!

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:

* Experienced in Sales, having at least 1-2 years – ideally of short Sales cycle selling.
* Experience in leading Salespeople: whether as a mentor or a formal leadership role.
* Experience working in a fast based environment, where daily run rates & call KPIS are the norm!
* Passionate about building a high-performing team and committed to supporting the development of the people within it.
* Knowledgeable on pipeline management, and how to coach on best practices in this area.
* In the detail and able to identify and communicate trends in performance.
* Sociable, with a desire to work in a company with a great culture.
* Not afraid of a challenge, rather, you are looking for one!

Salary Range: £47,500 + £12,500 OTE Bonus

Potential Start Date: 10th November 2025
