Job Description
Assystem Energy & Infrastructure is recruiting a Business Administrator to work at our client's site in Derby on a contract basis. The role involves 30 hours per week over 4 days.
The Business Administrator will support the Business Lead by providing accurate data, tools, and problem-solving techniques to enable robust business decisions. The role requires integration across business sectors and control of key drivers such as workload forecasting, headcount, and budgeting.

Key responsibilities include:
* Review MiS data for DBU or function to support decision-making, analyzing current and historical data sources.
* Provide management information that is accurate and meaningful for stakeholders.
* Support historical data capture, comparison scenarios, and data analysis for programs, serving as the recognized practitioner and point of contact for Business Management techniques and tools.
* Develop and deploy best practices for management information processes, techniques, and tools.
* Plan and manage workload and team deliverables to meet commitments, supporting business objectives.
* Model business data to support decision-making, analyzing data impacts based on various assumptions.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
* Articulate, numerate, and able to present data in different units (e.g., currency, hours).
* Capable of participating actively in meetings and working independently or as part of a team to generate and implement action plans.
* Understanding of company commitments to meet business objectives and KPIs.
* Skilled in data analysis, including cleaning, smoothing, handling missing data, and reduction.
* Knowledge of project management and project controls.
* Proficiency in tools such as Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint (Intermediate), SAP, Power BI, MiS.
Security Clearance
This role requires candidates to hold at least a Security Check (SC) clearance without caveats. Due to the nature of work and asset protection, candidates must be UK nationals or in MoD-approved cases, dual nationals from non-ITAR countries.
