Service Advisor
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support throughout their experience. This role requires a blend of customer service skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to upsell services effectively. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the reputation of our establishment.

What will you be doing?
* Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to our service department
* Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues
* Utilize your mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
* Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes
* Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle
* Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
* Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process
* Handle cash/card transactions and maintain accurate records of payments
Hours:
3-week rota basis as follows:
Week 1 Monday to Friday 06:30am to 15:00pm
Week 2 Monday to Friday 08:00am to 16:30pm
Week 3 Monday to Friday 10:00am to 18:30pm
All inclusive of a ½ hour unpaid lunch break.
You are also required to work Saturdays 08:00am to 13:00pm on a rota basis of 1 in 4 which is paid at the appropriate overtime rate.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have:
* Point of sale experience
* The ability to produce work to a very high standard
* A team player mentality
* An awareness of Health and Safety procedures/policies
* Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting
* Strong upselling skills and the ability to effectively communicate the value of additional services or products
* Solid mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions
* Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining financial records
* Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
