The Role We are seeking a Security Consultant for an initial 6 month contract but we will also consider permanent. The role will provide guidance and accountability for the security best practices at Envitia, including both physical security, digital (cyber) security as well as risk assessments and mitigation planning. Job Responsibilities Conduct security assessments and audits of Envitia's products and services, as well as customer environments and requirements. Provide security guidance and best practices to Envitia's development and delivery teams, as well as customers and partners. Design and implement security solutions and controls for Envitia's products and services, as well as customer environments and requirements. Monitor and respond to security incidents and events, and provide remediation and mitigation recommendations. Monitor and provide constant service improvements of the office security systems, including both CCTV and electronic access controls. Understanding of security testing, and analysis tools at a high level, in support of vulnerability assessments and penetration testing Consultant. Research and stay updated on the latest security trends, threats, and technologies. Skills Required Have a deep understanding of security frameworks, such as NIST, OWASP, Secure by Design and ISO27001, as they might apply to assigned projects. Experience in maintaining ISO standards and other required certifications, including FSC (ListX). Experience in supporting in pre-sales activities, specifically relating to the security aspects of a tender / project. Security Clearance Requirements The successful candidate must be eligible to go through a SC level security clearance. Location The role will be required travel to our Horsham offices 2 days a month and travel to customer sites when required.
