About The School
Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a friendly and well-regarded secondary school in Winchester. This is a medium-sized mainstream school rated “Good” by Ofsted, with a welcoming and collaborative Science department.
The school continues to thrive and offers regular opportunities for professional development throughout the year, showing a strong focus on supporting its staff. Although the school has a sixth form, this role will mainly involve teaching Science to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
The position is open to both Early Career Teachers and more experienced educators. For the right person, there’s potential for the role to be extended or made permanent.

Experience, Training And Qualifications
11. QTS or equivalent
12. Minimum 1 year Maths teaching experience in the UK
13. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
16. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
