The role
Job Overview:
We are seeking for kitchen assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible in the preparation and service of food and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area.
Job Responsibilities:
-Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of the chef.
- Assist in the preparation and service of all meals and beverages for residents, visitors and staff to the required company standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
-Clear and clean kitchen, dining areas and catering utensils using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment as directed by the Chef.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Good communication skills to effectively work with the kitchen staff
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
