Safety and Criticality Engineer
DATS is partnering with a world-leading nuclear and energy organisation to recruit a Safety and Criticality Engineer. This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting projects to meet the highest safety and licensing standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform design safety analysis (chemotoxic, criticality, nuclear hazards).
*
Conduct HAZOP/HAZAN/HAZID studies and follow-up analyses.
*
Produce criticality safety assessments and dose calculations.
*
Review and contribute to licence submissions and safety documentation.
*
Respond to technical and safety queries, optimise safety systems.
About You:
*
Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
*
5+ years’ experience in safety analysis, ideally criticality-focused.
*
Experience with MONK (criticality) and MCNP (dose calculations).
*
Confident communicator, organised, and able to manage projects.
*
Willing to travel and work flexibly; knowledge of French or German an advantage.
*
Eligible for or holding DV Security Clearance.
