Our client is building the imaging systems behind future AR/VR and smart-glasses products. We're hiring a senior engineer to develop the C++ simulation and imaging tools used to explore new camera architectures.
What you'll do
* Build C++ imaging and simulation software used by camera/optics teams.
* Translate prototype MATLAB/Python models into production-quality C++.
* Work with optics, image quality and graphics teams on the full pipeline.
Must Have Skills
* Proven camera development experience with lenses, sensors or ISP/pipelines.
* Strong image design and image quality background.
* 8+ years building complex C++ software, ideally in imaging/simulation.
Nice to have
* Experience taking prototypes into C++.
* Understanding of lens modelling, calibration or camera metrology.
The Offer
* Annual Salary up to £125,000 doe and location
* 12-month PAYE contract, inside IR35.
* Fully remote in the UK - to be considered must hold UK work authorisation (no sponsorship, and cannot work abroad)
