Today, we’re still just as passionate about the web and its potential but our tech stack and best practices have changed a lot! We’re an agency that builds both websites and web applications, and we’re now over 7-years into our journey with Laravel. From a stock system used by the NHS, a Chrome Extension for Branston Pickle to visualising $22B in research grant funding for Oxford University our work is varied and challenging in equal measure.
We’re seeking a Mid-level Laravel/PHP Developer with 2+ years solid Laravel experience to contribute to our growing team of passionate programmers.
What the job involves
* Developing and maintaining web applications using the Laravel Framework
* Contributing to project planning, scoping, specifications and estimates
* Handling or delegating client support requests as appropriate
* Delivering on multiple, concurrent projects
You have
* Strong knowledge of the Laravel framework and ecosystem
* Experience writing DRY, well structured, clean and elegant code
* Experience with Laravel Livewire
* Excellent knowledge of MySQL database design and development
* Familiarity with Linux shell
* Excellent attention to detail and a thorough approach to testing
* Ability to thrive in a sometimes fast-paced agency environment with demanding clients
* Ability to work efficiently by prioritising what's important without cutting corners
* Superb written and verbal communication skills, confident speaking with clients and stakeholders
* Familiarity with Git
* Familiarity with Mac OS
* Enthusiasm to work in a small team and make a difference
Not essential but it would be good if you have experience with
* Vue.js
* Filament
* Tailwind CSS
* Alpine.js
* Craft CMS and Craft CMS plugin development
* Experience with unit/feature testing (Pest PHP)
