An excellent opportunity to join our fast-paced Distribution team at Tesco.
In this Finance Manager – Transport role, you will partner with Regional Transport Managers, Distribution Centre Managers, and their teams to provide financial stewardship and insightful business partnering. You will support in-year operations by helping deliver budgets and forecasts, and drive longer-term improvement plans through our Save to Invest initiatives.
* Business partnering the Regional Transport Managers and Distribution Centre Lead Transport Managers.
* Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and analytical processes, ensuring integrity across areas and providing in-depth knowledge of performance to key stakeholders, including presenting at weekly and periodic finance reviews.
* Building positive relationships with the Bengaluru team that foster collaboration and knowledge sharing, driving continuous improvement and simplification in reporting.
* Supporting the business teams by providing financial expertise for end-to-end business plans, including investment committee papers and Save to Invest (S2I) initiatives.
* Supporting the development, simplification, and enhancement of KPI analysis tools.
* Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivilent)
* Ability to proactively engage with and challenge both finance and non-finance senior stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to understand both the detail and the bigger picture.
* Demonstrated peer-to-peer leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide constructive challenge to drive the best outcomes for the business.
* Experience in change management.
* Highly numerate.
* Strong proficiency in Excel.
