Requirements
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should have the following to apply for this role:
1. Relative experience within the last 3 years that we are able to gain professional, performance-based references from
2. Be enthusiastic and have the ability to build a rapport with students
3. Be resilient, flexible and be able to think fast on your feet to adapt to challenging situations.
4. Be willing to work in a college based environment with young adults with learning disabilities from ages 14
This is a role to support young people in a college/school setting in Wakefield. This position is initially through Vision for Education on a daily rate however the chance of a permanent contract being offered after 12 weeks is highly likely for the right candidates. We are looking for candidates to begin on our supply register asap. Hours are from 8.30am - 3.30pm and days from Monday - Friday are available.
