We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties
* Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients in daily activities, including meal preparation and medication management.
* Help maintain accurate care plans and documentation for each patient.
* Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
* Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
Requirements
* Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with patients and colleagues.
* Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is highly desirable.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that involve transportation of clients.
* Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining electronic records and communication.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
