What Is Required From You

* A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
* Self‑motivated and organised with experience in an administrative function, ideally in the Health & Social Care industry.
* Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills and a good level of IT competency.
* Availability to work 9 am to 5 pm every Saturday and Sunday (bank role).


A Day in the Life of an Administrator

* Answer the telephone, take and relay messages and direct calls to the appropriate person.
* Maintain the office diary, schedule appointments and meetings as required and use the manager’s Outlook calendar.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and other professionals such as GP, DN and visitors.
* Safeguard residents against abuse – identify risk and respond appropriately.
* Ensure all files are up to date and ready for audit.
* Attend staff meetings and take minutes for dissemination of service development, peer support and ideas.
