Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fitter/Driver based in the City of Bristol. The Fitter/Driver will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering plant and tool equipment to customers, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment, and ensuring all tools are in excellent working condition. Key duties include loading and unloading equipment, maintaining accurate records of deliveries, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires collaboration with the team to meet customer needs and uphold the high standards of Kellaway Hire Services.
Qualifications
* Valid driving license and experience in vehicle operation and delivery processes.
* Basic mechanical skills for performing routine maintenance and equipment repairs.
* Strong understanding of safety procedures and adherence to quality standards.
* Customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and provide professional assistance.
* Ability to manage time efficiently, handle physical tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in equipment hire or related industries is an advantage.
* Knowledge of the local area and routes within the City of Bristol is beneficial.
