Job Purpose: To lead and drive excellence in programme and project management across AALTO, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and strategic vision. By effectively managing risks, opportunities, and stakeholder relationships, the position aims to deliver measurable business performance and customer value. Responsibilities: Lead Programme and Project Management · The role of this position is to lead all programmes in the company. · Proactively Implement the strategic goal established for the company. · Identify, assess, and address risks and opportunities across AALTO. · Develop and implement common processes, tools, and standards tailored to programme and project complexities. Drive Improvement, Quality & Innovation · Foster a culture of openness, trust, and collaboration to enhance business excellence. · Lead initiatives to improve and sustain business performance and customer value using performance management, quality methodologies, and continuous improvement practices. · Challenge current solutions to frame customer value effectively and create the right environment for successful innovation. Design and Implement Focused Decision-Making · Make timely decisions using structured methods while monitoring their impacts. · Integrate ERM business process requirements and financial considerations into decision-making. Core Skills for Project Management · Ability to analyse and streamline complex operational processes, integrating digital tools with physical workflows to improve logistics, production efficiency, and supply chain performance. · Persuade and negotiate effectively, using reasoned advocacy and facilitation techniques to resolve conflicts. · Identify, assess, and respond to risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment with objectives. · Build and maintain stakeholder networks, engaging decision-makers at the right time to foster long-term relationships. · Play a pivotal role during Bid Preparation · Capture and analyse project requirements, define baselines, and align structures (work, cost, organisation) with objectives. · Monitor progress, manage dependencies, and address deviations with corrective actions. · Leverage lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. · Monitor and control progress based on project objective performance measures including Milestones/Maturity Gates. · Identify deviations and propose corrective actions. · Ability to capture and reuse Lessons Learnt. Requirements: · Senior-level experience leading program and project management within the aerospace industry. · Proven ability to drive change management, coordinating bid process and process optimisation. · Expertise in optimising workflows across logistics, inventory management, production lines, customs, and factory operations, aligning physical and digital processes to enhance efficiency and quality. · Exceptional leadership skills, with a strong focus on team development, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution. · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic business skills, including risk management and financial impact assessment. · Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and quality improvement techniques. · Familiarity with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and fostering innovation.
