National Account Manager

This business has been established for over 100 years and has an outstanding culture, promoting autonomous and flexible working and a strong work life balance. They have grown 23% YoY with a current turnover of £80m+ and have aggressive growth plans to get to £100m.
Due to growth, they are expanding and hiring for a National Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to manage the businesses top tier account, Tesco with a multi‑million £ P&L.
National Account Manager - Home Based (North-West Based) - Up to £55,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
You Will
* Manage, network and develop relationships with your National Account customer, Tesco.
* Work alongside the Head of Sales to develop a rolling 3 year account growth plan.
* Collaborate with Senior Commercial team and Buyers to identify and grow opportunities within brands and categories.
* Develop new business within account base.
* Understand commercial impact – Pricing, promotions, and Investment etc.
* Negotiate trading terms, pricing, range reset opportunities, JBP’s and cost increase where relevant.
* Develop, implement, and execute clear JBP’s with customer base ensuring focus on key measures for customer base and internal targets.
* Strong execution with retailers of NPD plans with clear implementation of support plans.
* Focus on forecasting, internal communication and understanding of retailer supply demands.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience within National Accounts within FMCG.
* Experience of managing a Top 4 Grocery account.
* Strong sales, relationship building and negotiation skills.
* A positive and proactive attitude, who is self‑motivated and capable of working both independently and across functions.
