We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same.
You will play an important role in the daily operations of our store by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and helping maintain the store’s appearance.
As the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will constantly seek ways to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback.
With your guidance, your store will always remain a safe place to work and shop.
You will be Responsible For
* Serving customers with passion and pride, providing natural, great service.
* Encouraging customers to give feedback via the ‘have your say’ survey.
* Working across all store areas, including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines to meet customer needs.
* Practicing safety-aware work by applying training received.
* Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events to foster an inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and your role in delivering profit.
* Living our values, making everyone feel welcome, and following policies.
* Clocking in and out at shift start and end for accurate pay.
* Following security procedures and wearing safety equipment to keep everyone safe.
* Following the think 25 policy when serving age-restricted products.
* Responding swiftly to assistance calls, explaining actions to customers.
* Maintaining a clean, tidy, and organized store environment.
* Potentially running shifts in the absence of managers.
* Following all safety and legal training to ensure safety for all.
* If applicable, duties include managing the Post Office operations, requiring passing a background check; if failed, the job offer will be withdrawn.
