Commercial Account Executive – Howden
We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Executive to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has grown rapidly over the last 14 years and we now have over 200 people within the team across the UK. In this role you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, who could range from sole traders, through to the MD/CEO of a large organisation, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.
Qualifications
* Experience winning new business and building long‑lasting relationships with B2B clients.
* Passion for developing business through marketing, community engagement, networking, client meetings, and other outreach activities.
* Tenacity and business curiosity to identify and explore new business opportunities.
* Willingness to learn, as each day presents new challenges.
* Consultative skills, ability to question effectively, and active listening to fully understand client requirements; capable of advising on products and solutions and finding a "path to yes".
* Providing coaching and mentoring to colleagues, supporting individual development and team success.
