The Role
To compile the weekly kill plan, liaising with suppliers, hauliers and internal departments. To monitor, coordinate, update spreadsheets to maintain the daily supply of pigs to site, working to customer specifications.
Your Key Responsibilities
* To work closely with site on business-critical issues to ensure site compliance.
* The compiling of in-depth customer traces.
* On a daily basis reconcile pig data to prepare payment and pig data sheets, process payments, communicate back to suppliers and submit into SAP.
* Liaising with marketing groups, suppliers and hauliers on a daily basis for the smooth and efficient running of the business.
* Maintain, update and oversee business-critical accounts/reports.
* To maintain the departmental database, ensuring that all data required to meet site, customer and legal standards is accurate and in date, and regularly checking the database to identify any non-valid information and update accordingly.
* To provide kill information to relevant departments daily.
* To input data, maintain spreadsheets/forecasts and run reports as required to the agreed level of accuracy and timeliness.
* To attend to day-to-day queries from suppliers, including payment queries.
* Preparation and issuing of information and requirements to all appropriate stakeholders.
* To collate weekly kill data, prepare submission file and submit to the industry’s governing body (AHDB)
* To work with the Rural Payments Agency (Government Body) to provide all necessary documentation requested.
* To work with the Meat Livestock Services Division both at factory level and Area Manager level to ensure factory compliance.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience within an administrative role
* An agricultural background would be an advantage
* Experience of data inputting and report running
* Microsoft Office, SAP and use of databases
