Hays are delighted to be working with a leading provider of high-end consulting and engineering services for projects worldwide, who are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their successful and established Payroll department.

Your new role

* Assisting with end-to-end processing of payroll for over 2000 employees.
* End to end IR35 payroll processing.
* Process the monthly payroll
* Effectively liaise with the external payroll providers.
* Continuously review and update internal and external payroll processes.
* Understanding and dealing with payroll-related queries in an efficient and effective manner.
* To undertake all aspects of pension scheme administration, including auto enrolment requirements.
* To assist with updating the P11D system with quarterly car changes for submission to HMRC and end-of-year data.
* To assist with the change to payroll of benefits.
* To produce weekly and monthly reports for stakeholders.
* Other payroll admin tasks


What you'll need to succeed

1. A CIPP or similar qualification is preferred.
2. Competent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
3. An ability to understand working alongside a payroll bureau is desirable.
4. Knowledge and experience of IR35 payroll processing is desirable.
