My client is a well-established and growing manufacturing business known for itsmitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. With a strong presence in both domestic and international markets, they are now looking to support their internal team with a dedicated Sales / Customer Service Administrator to manage a busy workload.
Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs. You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales function and ensuring a seamless customer experience from order to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email
2. Process sales orders accurately and efficiently using internal systems
3. Liaise with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
4. Maintain and update customer records and order tracking
5. Assist with preparing quotes, invoices, and sales reports
6. Resolve customer issues andplaints with professionalism and urgency
7. Support the wider sales and admin team with ad hoc tasks as needed
What you'll need to succeed
8. Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar sector
9. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
10. Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
11. Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
12. A team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
