We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Management Accountant to join our well reputed client based in East Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimising the financial aspects of the supply chain operations and business partnering with other departments such as procurement, logistics, production overseeing monthly, quarterly and annual reporting needs.

Description
* Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
* Assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities
* Utilise financial data to support decision-making, providing detailed analysis and reporting on key supply chain metrics.
* Monitor and control department costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing strategies to enhance financial efficiency
* Collaborate with procurement, logistics, production, and other departments to align financial objectives with supply chain strategies.
* Providing financial analysis to support decision making
* Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
* Contributing to the development of financial systems and processes
* Supporting internal audits
* Working closely with other departments to improve financial performance
* Completion of material costings within SAP
* Participating in ad-hoc finance related projects as required
Profile
* CCAB qualified preferably (ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA, ICAS and Chartered Accountants Ireland) but will consider part qualified, Finalist or QBE.
* Previous experience working within a similar role within FMCG, Manufacturing or Supply Chain preferred.
* Strong proficiency in MS Excel (large data sets) and Power BI, SAP, ERP systems and familiarity with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
