Responsibilities
Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis across primary schools in Doncaster. With both flexible supply work and long-term opportunities available we can help out with a wide range of roles.
Location: Doncaster Primary Schools
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day and longer-term roles available
About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support class teachers on a small group and 1:1 basis, supporting pupils in EY, KS1, and KS2 with a wide range of SEN. Your duties will include providing targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, encouraging pupil engagement and managing behaviour, and helping create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
* Experience working within EYFS, KS1 or KS2 in a primary school setting
* Experience working with SEN.
* A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine interest in supporting children's learning
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
* Flexibility and reliability to travel to different schools in the Doncaster area
